When someone says that they have a Ferrari that has been sitting outside, for 12 years, without being driven you think they have to be crazy, or their “Ferrari” is based on a Fiero chassis. I’m sure that is what people thought about this one after seeing it sit outside for so long, but no it is the real thing. Not only is it the real thing, but it is an ultra low mileage, pretty rare car that in this color and options package is ULTRA rare. To make matters worse, it was reviewed and appraised before being parked outside as was listed as being in amazing condition. Ooops. If you missed the original story and video, click the link below, but know that it has been getting some attention, some diagnosis, and some love. But now, it is time for its first bath in over a decade.

There have been a few videos going over the fuel system, electrical, getting keys made for it, missing parts, theft info and more since we posted that first one. In addition, the entire car has been inspected and a plan has been made for fixing the car up and getting it back into great shape. Of course there is debate over whether it should get a nut and bolt restoration or not, and at this point the car is NOT going to go down that road. For now, the car is going to be mechanically repaired and maintained so that it can be driven and cosmetics will be addressed to keep things from getting any worse, but the car will not be blown apart for a full rebuild and repaint. Personally, I think this is the smart way to go. I think this car can be cleaned up and made to look great without that, and it makes the story a bit better.
